Vijay Thakkar’s journey into the stock market did not begin with privilege or a financial background, but with real struggles, resilience, and self-learning. Coming from a middle-class family, he started his career working at a saree shop before moving into his first role at Motilal Oswal as a Sales Manager. In 2011, when the markets crashed by nearly 25%, Vijay lost his job, a moment that became a turning point in his life.

Determined to continue in the financial world, he started his own sub-broking business the same year, handling every role himself, from telecalling and dealing to back-office operations, sales, and even office work. Between 2014 and 2017, he immersed himself in learning about the stock market. With no mentors, no networks, and limited resources, he studied through books, blogs, and market events.

The real breakthrough came in 2017 when he discovered the power of price-volume action and long-term chart analysis. For the first time, everything clicked, and he finally found a method that made sense. From that moment onwards, he dedicated himself to refining one philosophy and one process instead of chasing multiple strategies.
